2. About DOGOUT
DOGOUT is a location-based social app for dog owners. Users can discover dog-friendly places, share reviews and markers, track routes, participate in Challenges, and connect with other dog owners nearby.
3. Eligibility and Rules of Use
To use DOGOUT, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Reside in the UK, EU, USA, or another country where the app is legally available.
Important interaction rules: DOGOUT facilitates connections and real-world meetups. You acknowledge that all offline interactions are entirely at your own risk. DOGOUT does not verify or monitor these meetups and is not responsible for any
incidents or consequences arising from them.
4. Account Registration
You can register using Apple ID, Google, or email. You are responsible for your
account activity. Keep your login credentials secure.
5. Use of Location Data
DOGOUT uses your location only with your consent. GPS is used for nearby suggestions, map markers, hazard alerts, and route tracking. You can disable access in
your settings, but some features may stop working.
6. User-Generated Content (UGC)
You can post reviews, photos, markers, and comments. By posting content:
- You confirm you have the rights to it.
- You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sub-licensable license to use, store, display, reproduce, and modify (e.g., reformatting for mobile screens) your content solely for the purposes of operating, developing, providing, and promoting the DOGOUT app.
- We reserve the right to remove abusive, false, or harmful content.
7. Content Moderation and Digital Services Act (DSA)
In compliance with the EU Digital Services Act (DSA) and our commitment to user
safety, we provide a Notice and Action mechanism. If you encounter content that
is illegal, abusive, or violates our rules, you can report it directly in the app by going to the user profile, tapping the More icon, and choosing Report, or by emailing admin@dogout.app. Upon receiving a report, we will review the content in a timely, diligent, and objective manner. If content is found to be illegal
or in violation of these Terms, we reserve the right to remove it and permanently ban the responsible account without prior notice.
8. Child Safety Policy
DOGOUT enforces strict child safety standards in compliance with Google Play requirements, the EU DSA, and global child protection laws. For detailed information on age restrictions, zero-tolerance for CSAE and CSAM, and reporting mechanisms, please read our dedicated Child Safety Policy available at:

9. Challenges and Gamification
DOGOUT offers interactive Challenges. These are for entertainment and motivation only, not a psychological assessment. You always control what is visible on your profile.
10. Prohibited Conduct
You must not share false content, abuse the review system, promote illegal acts, harass users, or violate animal welfare laws. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and any content endangering minors; such content will be removed immediately and reported to relevant law enforcement authorities. Accounts violating these rules will be permanently banned.
11. Intellectual Property
All DOGOUT elements (branding, code, graphics) are owned by DOGOUT. Your content remains yours, but you grant us the right to display it as outlined in section

12. Third-Party Services
DOGOUT uses third-party technologies such as Supabase (authentication, database) and Mapbox (maps). By using DOGOUT, you agree to their respective terms.

risk. Use common sense and keep your dog on a leash when necessary.
16. Limitation of Liability
As a dog guardian, you are entirely responsible for your dog behavior. DOGOUT is not liable for how meetups unfold, injuries, dog bites, damages, or losses resulting from meetups arranged via the app or decisions based on GPS data and reviews.
